Lacquer Tiers: MT200, MT400, MT500 and HT700
Junckers' one-component water-based lacquers sit across three tiers: MT200 (formerly ProFinish) is a durable, everyday option suited to both new and previously sealed floors; MT400 (formerly ProTech) offers a hard-wearing surface for machine-sanded or untreated wood; MT500 (formerly Strong) sits at the top of the one-component range, in ultra matt and silk matt sheens. HT700 (formerly HP Commercial) steps up to a two-component system, aimed at commercial premises and high foot traffic, offering greater durability at the cost of a mixed working time.
Specialist Lacquers: Sport and Slip Resistance
Two lacquers serve specific rather than general-purpose needs. Junckers HP800 Sport is a two-component lacquer engineered for high-traffic sports flooring, suitable for both new floors and recoating previously sealed surfaces. Junckers Friction Floor Lacquer is a slip-resistant, two-component formulation aimed at areas like restaurants and bars where grip underfoot matters as much as durability, with a non-yellowing finish and rapid curing.
Primers: Whitewash Effect vs Combination Primer
Junckers WB Primer (in Clear, White and Nordic) is a fast-drying, water-based primer that also adds a whitewash shade to the floor, designed to be overcoated with MT500 or HT700 lacquer. Junckers SB Primer (formerly BasePrime) works differently — it's a quick-drying primer usable with both solvent- and water-based Junckers lacquers, suited to most sanded or untreated parquet including exotic wood species, and gives light-coloured woods a light-gold tone rather than a whitewash.
Oil Systems: Rustic, Hardwax and HP Oil
Junckers offers three distinct oil ranges. Rustic Floor Oil (clear or coloured, including White, Black and Anthracite Grey) works as both primer and finish in one product for untreated floors — clear oil is recommended where a ship-decking strip is present, to avoid discolouring it. Hardwax Floor Oil is a quick-drying oil for sanded or untreated floors, aimed at giving depth of colour and lustre with minimal closure time. HP Oil, with a matching HP Oil Recoat product for maintenance, is positioned as a complete high-performance oil system for high-traffic floors, combining priming and finishing in one application on newly sanded wood.
Cleaning System for Sports and Active Floors
Junckers Floor Cleaner (formerly Sylva Cleaner) is a universal, film-free cleaner suitable for both lacquered and oiled floors, diluted before use for regular cleaning. It's paired with Junckers Neutraliser, used specifically after the cleaner on sports and aerobic wooden floors to remove residues like body fats that build up during active use — no rinsing required.
Gap Filling for Sanded Floors
Junckers SB Filler (formerly BaseFill) is a quick-drying, solvent-based filler mixed with sanding dust to fill gaps up to 2mm wide, compatible with both solvent- and water-based Junckers lacquers, and suitable for most sanded or untreated parquet, including exotic species.
